Our mission is to provide disaster, emergency and safety services for the whole community. We aim to build a resilient and empowered community by preparing everyone for natural disasters and emergencies.

Our Purpose - COVER recognizes that in times of disaster, households of language, financial, cultural, physical, mental and emotional barriers present special challenges. For these households, services may not distribute equally and the methods of communicating with the public may not be effective.

COVER seeks to improve communication efforts and emergency education for individuals and families who experience these barriers.

The members of COVER discuss ways we can empower our community and raise awareness of emergency preparedness. Our aim is to engage and respond to a diverse community.
